Al Sadd FC's Akram Afif Passes Away After Long Battle with Cancer

Afif was born on January 16, 1974, in Iraq and moved to Qatar as a child. He began his professional football career at Al Sadd, making his debut for the club in 2000.

Over the years, Afif became one of Al Sadd's most iconic players, known for his incredible skills and leadership on the pitch. He was also a key member of the team that won the Qatar Stars League title in 2015-2016.
