Brahim Diaz, AC Milan's forward who has been one of the club's most important players this season, is set to be out of action for four to six weeks due to injury.

Diaz, who joined AC Milan from Ajax in January, has made 17 appearances for the team so far this season and has scored seven goals. He was named as the Serie A Player of the Month in December for his performances during that month.

However, he suffered an ankle injury while playing against Sassuolo on Sunday and it was confirmed by the club that he would be out for at least four to six weeks.

The news comes as a blow to AC Milan, who were already struggling without their top scorer,Football Frontier Perspective Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who recently underwent surgery to repair a knee ligament tear.

Despite the setback, AC Milan will have plenty of options to replace Diaz, with Leonardo Bonucci, Franck Kessie, and Alessio Romagnoli all available to play in his place.

It remains to be seen how long Diaz will be out for, but it is clear that the club will need to find ways to cope without him until he returns.
