Pierre Kalulu is a former professional footballer who played for several clubs during his career, including AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain. He made over 250 appearances for the French national team, scoring eight goals.
Kalulu began his career at FC Basel in Switzerland, where he spent three seasons before moving to France with Le Mans. In his debut season with Le Mans, he scored four goals in 28 games, helping the team finish in fourth place in Ligue 1. He then moved to Marseille, where he scored six goals in 47 games in two seasons.
In 2016, Kalulu joined AC Milan on loan from Marseille, where he helped the club win the Serie A title and reach the UEFA Champions League final. He made 19 appearances for Milan in his first season,Bundesliga Tracking scoring one goal. In his second season, he made 18 appearances and scored two goals.
After his time at Milan, Kalulu moved to Paris Saint-Germain, where he made 21 appearances and scored five goals in his first season. He was part of the PSG squad that won the Ligue 1 title in 2018-19 and reached the UEFA Champions League final the following year, but he did not play in either competition due to injury.
Kalulu is known for his versatility as a defender, able to play both central defense and left back. Despite injuries, he has continued to be a key player for his teams, earning praise for his work rate and physicality. He retired from professional football in January 2022, after playing for various clubs in Asia and Europe.
